Every developer needs to adapt to this change, even the most popular themes and plugins (Yoast, Advanced Custom Fields) were updated for a better compatibility with Gutenberg. More and more users will pivot soon, so you, as a theme author, must offer them what they want if you plan to survive on a market dominated by page builders. 🙂

Seems a bit premature to use these themes but I guess it’s worth taking a look before gutenberg is released as core update.
